From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship." My wife and I have had a similar realization when we've read this part of the Book of Mormon. You would think with the huge amount of money the government collects that more people would be in favor on cutting back taxes. Wow, that’s scary stuff.
