Today is election day. Will Latter-day Saints choose a Socialist, a Communist, or a Constitutionalists. This is the choice before us this election. I hope that all Latter-day Saints will honestly study the issues and determine which candidate will most uphold the Constitution and the liberties that it promises, instead of the “lesser of two evils.” We here at Mormons for Baldwin believe that Dr. Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party is the only Presidential contender that will follow our God-inspired Constitution.

How many votes did Chuck get (nationally)? Where can we find out?
Mike,
Good question. I suspect that when all the writein votes for Chuck Baldwin are recorded, he will get nearly 200,000 votes.
Currently, according to CNN & Fox News (http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/results/president/allcandidates/ and http://elections.foxnews.com/states_map/index.html), Dr. Baldwin is at 173,178.
In most (if not all states), this does not count abstente, provisional, and write-in votes. In 2004, the American Independent Party (California) cast over 30,000 votes for Dr. Baldwin. Since he was a write-in this year, it will be interesting to see how California compares.
